My house is paid for.

Mine also, but we're happy that DurocShark works for such a prosperous company and all eagerly await being invited aboard the blimp.

Wow. I thought we had more market penetration than this...

Guess nobody's gotten a mortgage lately?

My house is paid for.

Me too.
Likewise. But if I get a ride on the blimp, I might consider getting a mortgage. :p

Not nearly as stupid as paying 2 or 3 times the value of the house to some mortgage company...

I doubt it - the value of my house has increased 2.5x times in 4 years. How has a renter's investment done in the last 4 years?

Nope. That just means it's time for a HELOC necessary for a down payment on a vacation home.

Interesting, considering that I was reading up on the history of blimps/zeppelins yesterday.

First hot air balloon was invented by a couple of frenchies in the late 18th century. The first controllable one was in the mid 19th century and the first rigid airship (like a current blimp) was made in 1900. They grew in popularity as a form of transit until the Hindenburg went down in a fiery mess in 1937 at the tail end of its trip from Germany across the Atlantic. It's weird to think that people would sit in these things with a little restaurant in them and all that and actually cross the ocean with a huge wad of flammable gas above them.

Wonder what the showroom for those things is like.
