Same. I'm guessing you guys will throw the $52 in the next drawing if there is no winner tonight. If there is a winner tonight, I think Vivi should get the $52 for his hard work.
Ditto.

I have no qualms with doing it again, it was fun! What does everyone think of $10-$20 instead of $5? Or does that get out of a lot of ranges for people?

what should be done with the $52? dave's charity? I want to try to avoid the 'well I paid last week' but not this week, especially if we bump the price.

Do you have that much in the bank to cover it? I think it's going to be a LOT more interest if you try this again with a bigger jackpot.

I'm in for $20. We might actually have a chance. Even if we don't win the big one, who knows we might get the $250k.

My vote doesn't count since I didn't participate but I think the majority vote should get an opportunity to vote. I'd say either roll it into the next pot or donate to charity.

I say that if nobody won, we leave that $52 in the pot for the next one, and really give this next one a go. If we won, we would go down in internet lore as the forum group that won the big fish.

Only downside is that you're open for a huge lawsuit if the sidepool wins a billion jackpot and those who weren't in it on the main pool aren't pleased.

yeah, i have a feeling thats going to get things mucked up a bit. 52 dollars to vivi or to charity. just my opinion.

For this next one, why don't we just put in the $52 by itself and it'll just be the same 122 folks who entered today?

I say we should just roll it into the next pool, if there is one. I'm OK donating my $0.50 share of the winnings to the cause and two separate pools is too much to track and too much liability.

Or, this. I see no problem with that either.

Hehe wouldn't it suck if next week, the last "lucky 122" WON and the new suckers (me) who forked over $10-$20 got squat?

I agree, $10-$20 would be a sweet spot IMO...even if we get half the numbers today, payout bigger, MORE tickets.

I will do a survey monkey and email everyone on what to do.

opt1 : charity it
opt2 : roll it into a side pool (122 people in the original get it)

any other options?

Vivi should decide what to do with the money, he could keep it or contribute it to the next pool for a bonus 52 tickets in my opinion. $10 buy in sounds good to me so I'm in.

Get written consent from everyone that they give up their share of the winnings, then roll it up to the next one.

I had 8 tickets and only match the mega ball on one. Oh well, -75% return which was better than my 401k in 2009.

if you do a side pool, then you better specify which tickets are for that and which tickets are for the new pool.

don't want you to find a winning ticket on the new pool and say it was bought with the old pool.

I don't know about the rest of these clowns, but I expect my hard-earned 42 cent share deposited back into my PP account. :colbert: lol naa, I say Vivi keeps it all.

I have them all separated nicely, and everyone's names/emails set for group 1.
