We are going to land this plane on the ocean!

I wonder if it's the same plane from the earlier incident stated in the article?

In August 2010, 275 passengers onboard a British Airways flight from London to Hong Kong were jarred by a similar message announcing, "We may shortly need to make an emergency landing on water."

Preparing you? For what exactly?

To save my life or the lives of others by acting quickly and decisively. I've been in a few emergency situations, even saved a couple lives, and it's always the same, the herd will simply freeze and do nothing even as death is approaching them.

There are few who will act quickly, those are the ones who live.

An emergency landing on the ocean in a huge jetliner is sure death. No decisive or quick thinking is going to change that.

What if my decisive action is to grab the hottest chic on the plane and start banging away then? Hmmm? While you sit frozen in terror, I'll be getting some zero gravity poon.

I think they should supply parachutes on airplanes.
So that the 30 to 60 seconds the passengers have to put them on trample each other to death doing it before they get ripped apart hitting the water

I'm sure I could at least work up the courage to fap to you banging the hot chick.

Wait, we don't even expect humans to issue a emergency warning? They are prerecorded, and given with the push of a button?

Do they have recordings for every possible scenario?

A friend of mine was on an airliner that was hit by lightning (not that big a deal but scary as hell for everyone on the plane.) Apparently after the lightning strike one stupid wise and beautiful woman yelled out "oh my god we're going to die" and then everyone flipped out. Bitch should've been beaten for that.

lol. I was on a plane once where some woman got into a panic after she saw what looked like smoke pouring out the engine. It was just water vapor.

They said the one that hit the airbus that went down near South America would have ripped any other plane apart. Thanks to the Airbus size it could withstand it but unfortunately the indicators froze over and the pilots didn't know what is up or what is down and crashed
