We are all so poor right now

this recession hasn't really been much of a blip for the tech industry.

when people realized that actual science / tech knowledge was more important than being a paper pushing lawyer / worthless mba / banker / real estate flipper the money started coming back over here.

its probably the best recession ever in some fields. same with medical industry. you know stuff thats actually useful.l

Why are all CS graduates from my Alma Mater getting hired right out of college at 70k/year salaries? Jeez...this recession is terrible...

Go get a job that's worth a shit - then you might not be realized as useless at some point down the line.


Actually, better yet, don't. People not becoming technically inclined gives the rest of us job security.

Maybe we've forgotten what poor really feels like. Might do us some good.
