We’re watching Trump’s 7th bankruptcy unfold

rump loses focus. As a real-estate developer, Trump had a reputation as somebody who relished the dealmaking but not the everyday work of running the companies he bought. “In business, he would focus for about two or three days before the closing, and after that he would lose interest,” one former associate told the New York Times for a 2016 analysis of the Plaza Hotel bankruptcy. Trump himself has admitted this. “The fact is, you do feel invulnerable,” he told author Timothy O’Brien, author of the 2005 biography “Trump Nation.” “And then you have a tendency to take your eye off the ball.”
so sort of ADHD, not a good trait for running a business or a country.

His name is the company.
Doesn't mean anything. My guess is in every instance he was behind a cooperate shield, which is pretty much SOP in any venture where you have assets to protect.
Trumps primary failing is his never ending quest for self aggrandizement, everything he touches has to have the Trump name plastered across it.

I think it's quite obvious that he's always had pretty severe ADHD. The rumors of Adderall seem not only plausible but also probable. It reduces the burden of his condition, but adverse side effects are numerous, especially if he consumes recreational doses (as has been rumored as well).

Of course it wasn't him personally, did you expect any different? If a person inheriting that much wealth from his family actually goes personally bankrupt they are more stupid than we imagined.

Having said that, this is the supposedly brilliant business man that people want running the country? A guy whose companies have gone bankrupt 6 times?

Has Trump declared bankruptcy seven times, or has it always been a company he owns or has a major interest in?
Trump made money on the companies he drove into bankruptcy. Tis a mystery why any legitimate business does business with him, let alone loans him money. With the Russian oligarchs, I understand Trump is money laundering for them so losses are a feature but for anyone else, getting in bed with Trump is "shame on me".

If he was using his businesses as personal slush funds, as his taxes seem to suggest, it may as well be characterized as several rounds of personal bankruptcy

Well despite all of his failings and the difficulties he's faced being a narcissistic racist spoiled brat, I hear from his fan base that he's running the country just fine, the economy for the very wealthy is the best yet, his love affair with Putin is A-OK by them and he really really needs to get reelected because he's doing such an outstanding job at cheating on his golf game and pissing off his enemies contrived or otherwise to no end.

Dude has been funnelling millions of tax-payer dollars to his properties over the course of his presidency, yet still in financial trouble? Imagine how much money his property managers are skimming from him, knowing he is far too retarded to know it.

So about 1.4% of his companies has filed bankruptcy.

Meh.
Well, if you want to go that route...how many of his "companies" are actual profit generating and not just a name?
Remember he bought a used helicopter for his golf course in Scotland and the purchase went through over 50 "companies".

2 of them casinos, so that gives a different perspective.
Not that it maters to you, you adore him and in your eyes, he is the epitome of a businessman

Yeah one was due to the property falling into disrepair, and its online partner going broke. The other was due to construction defects. Im sure you think Trump was personally responsible for this (lol) but still meh.

They were pretty much all his largest endeavors. The biggest and most beautiful deals. All burned so beautifully too. And he's on the hook for 400 million bucks still.

Nope. Trumps largest companies are:

  • 1. Trump National Doral.
  • 2. Trump Old Post Office LLC.
  • 3. Trump Ruffin Tower LLC.
  • 4. Trump Turnberry.
  • 5. Mar-a-Lago Club L.L.C.

Oh and 6 of Trump's company bankruptcies were Ch11 so meh. And we all know Trump has never filed personal bankruptcy.

A true believer here ... this is amazing folks. Look at it. Poor critter doesnt even know its in a zoo.

Doubtful.

what reason do you even have to doubt that?

DO you have eyes, and the ability to read and discern information?

What human, possessing such rudimentary skills, would doubt the claim that Trump is one of the worst businessmen that ever lived?

It's baffling, considering evidence being what evidence else.

Because if you know anything about business, you would know people with as many businesses as Trump has does not manage the day to day or operations of those businesses. Still, if you want to think that someone who has over 500 businesses and 7 went bankrupt (6 CH11) is a total business failure, thats up top you. Were all entitled to our own opinions.
