Looks about $20 cheaper than anywhere else? It has to be a spinner, looked up specs but couldn't find details on the HDD other than 2.5".

Plus, it's for x box, so no damn good for some us that don't play teenage games.

But still, I wonder if X box is an elon musk thing, as he's enamored with the letter X.

100% compatible with PC and Mac, used as external storage (though possibly need to reformat??). You could even remove the HDD (after the warranty) and use it like any other 2.5" SATA.

For these small portable drives Western Digital has switched to using drives that have the USB interface built directly on the circuit board instead of using traditional laptop SATA drives with USB-to-SATA adapters. If you remove it from the case you'll have a funny looking drive with a Micro-B USB 3 interface built on. The connector sticking out of the back of the assembled P10 drive is built onto the drive itself.

It's still a very excellent price for a high performance portable drive that will work with a PC and Mac.

Ah OK it's been a few years since I took a couple apart and scavenged the drive which was standard OEM/bulk drive.
