WD4000KD SATA DOA?

Ok, so I just received this HD and when I boot and go to BIOS it doesn't recognize the drive. It also makes a clicking sound every 10-20 seconds or so.

I've never had a bad HD, should I assume this thing is DOA?

i would clicking generally = dead hd

and since you just got it i would rma that thing
