WD Raptor making unusual noise!

For some reason, after i keep my computer on for a while, the raptor starts to make HUGE unusual noises and gets REALLY loud. It is also acting a lil weird cause it stops spinning for split seconds...is it getting too hot in there or is this another defective piece (this is my 2nd from newegg, first RMA'd) someone please help, thanx in advance

If you need to replace this one I would contact WD directly. Be sure to let them know this will be your third drive. All they can do is send you a replacement, but maybe they know something they could share with you.

I try to RMA with the manufacturer whenever I can. They are usually very helpful.

I've got two in RAID 0 with a 120MM fan on them. Do you think cooling could be the problem?
