WD "My Book" external drive sound

Got this WD external drive last week. About ever hour, it makes a loud "click" (kind of a thunky click) sound with a bit of a buzz. I check it out with the WD tools, and it came out okay. Wonder if I should be concerned or be taking it back?

Oh, and when I go to certain websites, it seems to be accessing the drive, as the light flashes on and off. Doesn't do anything like this with my external Iomage drive.
 
Took it back to Staples. Got another, it does it too but much less often (few times a day rather than once an hour). I really think its the heads parking...not sure why their just doing it without my even using the drive?
