I have a Western Digital 40GB IDE drive that has died after only about a month. Does anybody know how long it takes to get a replacement drive from Western Digital? I need it ASAP.
 
Just look at their website here.

7-9 days business days if you return the drive to them first.
If you have a credit card, they'll ship you a replacement in advanced in 5-7 days and give you 30 days to return the failed drive before they charge your card.

Reports from people who did the advanced replacement had their replacement in 2-3 days.

Yup I had my drive 3 days after I filled out the online form.
