I am comparing it to my WD3200AAKS dual platter version. Probably the 64MB cache is helping it achieve these high rates. Seek time is lower, but I am using at as a secondary HD so no problem here.

Yes, I just installed one a few weeks back and I'm pretty impressed with it so far, it holds up nicely against my 500gb 7200.12 shortstroked raid-0.

I actually got it to move my old 500gb storage drive into a rig I just built with an E2220 I scored for $40 shipped which enabled me to use a bunch of my spare parts!
Perfect timing too as I only had 4gb left on that drive and I don't store stuff on my raid-0 array.
