Figured it out by busting it open. Unlike some of the other models, this has no screws holding it together. Just get a flathead screwdriver, pry it at the binding (kind of like the binding of a book the way the device is shaped), and push with a lot of force. It's all held together by just friction and tabs. There are some tabs visible, but they don't do all that much to hold it so I think you can just ignore it. 16mb PATA drive inside.

OfficeDepot rebates have gotten worse than what Tigerdirect had in the past.
Also note that the WD externals have only 1 year warranty, the Seagate ones (FreeAgent line) are 5 years.

Both BB and Commyusa have same drive for $130 after instant rebates. So no, I don't see any way to PM them.

Picked up a 400GB for the same price back on Black Friday. The thing I hate the most about this thing is the spin down. If it didn't spin down, I would be much happier.
