What is the difference of all the WD sata drives now. I do know the 8 vs 16 cache and the sataI and sata II trans rates. But why have 3 diff models and what is the best to purchase? I think the KS may be the first 300 trans rate drive that came out.
Thinking of purchasing a new drive.

The YD has marginally faster seek times, the KS and YD both have 16MB cache and the JS has 8MB cache.

Get the KS 'cause you get all the performance minus a couple $ from the YD.
