To bad prices for the rest of PC parts were in line with m2 drives.Jesus, a full TB of solid-state storage for less than $100 shipped, AND it's blazing fast!, what times we live in.
I think it's just the vid cards that are way too high, CPU, MB, memory are all still somewhat normal, right?.To bad prices for the rest of PC parts were in line with m2 drives.

I agree with that. You can build a killer system today for a reasonable price. Minus the GPU.
Of course you can still buy a GPU, I've got a 7790 that I'll let go for just $125!Not really...2019 was pretty awesome...$85 mobo....$129 8-core CPU....$59 16GB DDR4....and you could actually buy a GPU!!!
Sigh...gonna be years until that returns...
It's at $109.99 right now.
Still, a full terabyte and a well known and respected manufacturer, lotta bang for your buck, my MB supports these so I might just grab one. LOL, my 1st drive purchase was a Commodore 1541 floppy disk in '83 for $175. And oh, it was a refurb!.It's at $109.99 right now.![]()
I bought a 1GB HD back in the day, ~1998?. IIRC cost $1000. $100? Yeah, I think it was ~$100, probably a Maxtor.Still, a full terabyte and a well known and respected manufacturer, lotta bang for your buck, my MB supports these so I might just grab one.
