WD Black as backup HD?

My specs listed below, have the Intel X-25 SSD 160 gb (nearly full) as main HD, with a WD 3.0 as a backup external. Was considering getting a WD Black as another backup...running games from that drive... make sense?

Might as well use the WD black for games that don't benefit from a SSD, It would be a shame just to have it as a storage drive.

Just picked up for the PC 'Titanfall' for my son and me... Ridiculous @ 50 gb of space needed... My SSD main HD is just about full, so I cannot install it there.

Could I install/run it from my external WD 3.0 HD? Would it run right from there?

Honestly, I haven't noticed, as I use it only for backup storage.

It's worth a try I guess, If you find it stutters due to disk access then you'll know for sure.

I'll install it on the WD external, and see what happens. If that doesn't work, maybe I'll get a WD 'Black' @ 3-4 gb.....
