Nice deal! I have four of these things but I'm upgrading to 14TB - already bought two of the 14TB Easystore drives at $200 and will get two more if/when they drop below $200.

And since the serial number of the drive is the same that's on the enclosure, apparently warranty issues are pretty much a non-issue.

With the 14TB 7200rpm 5yr warranty version of these at only $350, I've come to the conclusion that the $200 14TB easystore drives are essentially 'de-tuned' versions of the enterprise drives with a lesser warranty, designed for internal or external use thanks to the included enclosure.

I need an external storage of around that size, but if that's a fairly normal price I'd rather wait until December is in the rear-view mirror if you know what I mean.
