WD 320GB SATA HD $120

1. There is no rebate
2. The BB website says, " Warranty Terms - Parts 3 years
Warranty Terms - Labor 3 years"

And even if both are true you are paying 13 bucks more.

RZ customers got 10/12% coupons in the mail valid for this sale. Might warm it up a bit, plus if you have RZ certificates to spend...

That $90 external looks like a pretty decent deal. Just how much of a speed difference am I looking at if I run files from a USB 2.0 drive? I won't be playing games from there or anything but what about multimedia such as music and video?

No rebates and a 3 year warranty (retail Western Digital hard drives only have a 1 year warranty. You have to pay an additional $14.95 to extend it to three years).

🙂

I would recommend spending an extra $8 and get the 16MB cache and SATA 3gb/s.

I'm showing it @ $125 + $4.99 ship... so equal money 🙂

Shows as $119.99 at Bestbuy.com for me.

The coupons I got in the mail (10-12% off) don't include internal hard drives. 🙁

thanks, in for one $128 picked up in store...

When I realized I needed to reinstall Windows, I figured I'd make the jump to SATA from PATA.

I didn't get any for this time period. My last ones expired 2 weeks ago.

I don't think so. It only mention external hard drive. I tried using the coupon the last time BB got the 10% off to get the Seagate laptop hard drive and got shot down. The cashier was too smart and noticed the external part and did not buy my claim that it is notebook accessory.

I know TN and CA pay Newegg tax. I live in TN and now have to pay sales tax thanks to them putting a distro center in Memphis. Guess how many times I've been shipped from Memphis? Yup, 0.

If the etailer has a physical location in your state, you are charged tax.

Dell is the only in my state

seems to me the 16mb for 130.00 including delivery from the egg with no tax to fla beats the 8mb either from the egg or BB
