I know that some will get bitchy about the limited warranty but for the best money to gb ratio, it's the lowest I have seen to date!

This does not beat dvd's price per gb thought. 2 TB of data is still cheaper then buying a HD. 500 dvd-r cost me 76.50 so I'll pass on this one for now cause I already got quite a few 120gb and 160gb drives still functioning.

That is true but just trying to drive the prices of hd down so we all pay less later?
As soon as blue-ray or HD DVD comes out, the price of hd should drop significantly. Looking forward to 500gb capacity and above.

This is still far better then buying refurbish from newegg as they are shrink wrapped meaning it came direct from the manufacturers so your chance of getting a bad one is slim to none. I have bought a couple from them for a year now and it is still functioning perfectly. No bad sectors or excessive seek noise.

Or just wait till thanksgiving, prob be $50 then. Gotta love officemax the day after; I spent like $200 ($50 for a 200gig) and saved myself at least $400.

Why sell cheap on 1 freaking holiday? what's the catch? limited quantity? promotional item? I think i'd spent about this much for 160gb not too long ago. 50 bucks for 200gb is still pricey to me. cause for 13.00, it can buy 100 dvd-r that stores 470gb. also hd likes to count every bytes as gigabyte kinda silly. I'd would called 100 dvd-r 438gb if hd manufacturers stop playig this silly games of 1k - 1000 bytes and not 1024 bytes.
They are cheap and very shady to the consumers.

just fyi, it's shipped same day if ordered before 2 pm. let's say if you're in new york and ordered at 4:45 pm, it would be shipped same day. I got mine in less then a week from west coast to central time zone.

They do what they say "Availability: Usually ships the same business day."

Kinda cold considering you can get a 200 gig Maxtor for 69.00 and it's an 8 meg cache drive.

Also their resellerratings are somewhat mixed. Their score isn't that great.
