$129.99 - $60 rebate - $10 rebate = $59.99

Fry's has the drive on sale for $108.99 Fry's AD

So PM the drive at BB to Fry's

$108.00 - $60 rebate - $10 rebate = $38.99
 
Does BB honor rebates after a PM? I thought I remembered something about their policy changing about that.

No-go for me - the person at the CS desk stated exactly that.
 
I just got mine, the cashier didn't mention anything about it being a problem, but then again how would she know. The other thing is that the $60 rebate is through WD, and they should not have a problem with it. If I loose out on the $10 deal, I still saved $10 for the pricemnatch... though 38.99 would be smokin'
 
The $10 rebate states "Items which have been competitive price matched, price adjusted, will no longer be eligible for this rebate.

Now I wonder how to handle this one. On the $60 rebate it goes to the Western Digital rebate Center in TX, WD Rebate Info. Though the rebate reciept says to call Best Buy to check the status. I think I'm bringing it back. Too risky.
 
i tried to do this as best buy before


when frys had a 160 gb maxtor for $119 - 40 . best buy didnt have any rebate, but i tried to get them to match it down to $79 mostly becasue i was too lazy to drive to frys and was already at best buy.

they said no, and that you cant pricematch rebates among their stores either.

i did get the rebate from frys though so it all worked out well, just had to drive farther.

I bought the drive Thursday night and pricematched it Friday morning.

The transaction code will invalidate the old receipt. I've been told that they do check them.
 


Anyone have a copy of the UPC for this drive? I got in on the OM deal for this drive about a month ago, and OM "lost" my copy of the UPC. I didn't make two copies (*d'oh*).

can anyone PM me if they have an extra?

Considering that the serial number is now part of the UPC code that you submit, I think you're SOL.

For those who bought the drive last week, this week fry's has the drive at $98.99, I price matched it yesterday for another $10 saving.

$129.99 - $60 rebate - $10 rebate = $59.99

Fry's had the drive on sale for $108.99

$108.00 - $60 rebate - $10 rebate = $38.99

NEW Price match

$98.99 - $60 rebate - $10 rebate = $28.99
