Well, seeing as how no one is on Russ's side, they either accept wrestling and what it's about, or they simply have something better to do.

I'm guessing Russ found the second solution.

And I don't see anything about Hogan on the Ross Report. I read it this morning, and don't remember reading anything about it. Care to point it out to me?

Not the most recent one - it was the one (or two) before Armageddon. He talked about how Hogan *might* come back on the RAW after Armageddon. (Which of course didn't happen)

I must be the only person that REALLY REALLY hates The Rock.....I don't know I just have a problem with people that keep talking in the third person 😉 thank go he stopped doing that stooopid people's eyebrow. 😀

Have any of you seen some of that japense wreastling stuff? My old roomates were HARDCORE wreastling fans and I totally hated wreastling, but when I started looking at it from a diffrent perspective (I had Russ's attitude at the time), from the diffrent perspective that "yeah the stories are fake (and I think they got better when the finally jsut came out and said it's fake) but the action is realy. I mean come on yeah they cut their foreheads to make blood but that is real blood. And yeah there are springs under that mat, they say the WWF mat is one of the hardest out there. But you take a fall from a 10ft+ ladder or ceiling and walk away or refuse to curl up in pain. And you've earned my respect.

Do I still watch wreastling often? Nope not really my cup of tea. But I still have respect for the show, cause after all there really is no other show out there quite like it.

<< I must be the only person that REALLY REALLY hates The Rock >>

You're not the only one.

But check out this article here:

It makes you think a bit, if not change your opinion on the guy.

<< Have any of you seen some of that japense wreastling stuff? >>

Yes. That stuff is just a million times more brutal than the average American stuff. Thumb tacks and C4 explosions in the ring are as common as chairs and tables.

<< My old roomates were HARDCORE wreastling fans and I totally hated wreastling, but when I started looking at it from a diffrent perspective (I had Russ's attitude at the time), from the diffrent perspective that "yeah the stories are fake (and I think they got better when the finally jsut came out and said it's fake) but the action is real >>

I've converted a few non-believers by showing them some of the more brutal matches out there. It never ceases to fail 🙂

Even my dad who's never seen an ounce of wrestling and like Russ doesn't allow his opinion to be change totally changed his perspective on it.

<< And yeah there are springs under that mat, they say the WWF mat is one of the hardest out there. >>

They softened it'd up a bit lately, due to the harder work schedule. But it still used to be better than the mats you see at amateur wrestling leagues.

<< But you take a fall from a 10ft+ ladder or ceiling and walk away or refuse to curl up in pain. And you've earned my respect. >>

They've earned mine.

<< But I still have respect for the show, cause after all there really is no other show out there quite like it. >>

Exactly.

My dad forced me to watch wrestling from the time I was 5 or so, so I grew up with it. I quit watching for quite some time, and stopped to watch nitro and Raw last monday. Am I the only person who thinks the "stories" have really taken away from wrestling? At least at one point you could watch it and say "Wow, I knew that was scripted, but DAMN!". Now, it's just one interference after another, which makes for a boring and frustrating event in my opinion.

<< Never watched it anyway. I hate wrestling >>

You hate something you never watch? That's a nice concept.

I hate Pokemon too, even though I've never seen more than 2 minutes of it.

Sure, there's a lot of fakery, but there is also a lot of physical punishment doled out that is not fake. It's pretty hard to fake cracking someone over the head ten times with a steel chair until that person's head is split open like a ripe watermelon.

Just ask Terry Funk how fake it all is ... he's living (somewhat still) proof that it is not all fake.

And more on Terry Funk..did you know the guy's had like THIRTEEN retirement matches? And he even participated in a really brutal hardcore match a few weeks ago? He's FIFTY-FIVE and still going strong.

I actually believe he had a retirement match in the 70's as well. He just can't appear to stop.

Maybe someone will contribute a couple hundred million in Monopoly money? After all they are used faking everything, right?

If they can get half of the US population to think what they do is real, they can convince a bank to accept legal tender of Monopoly land! Or maybe they can trade them Parks place and boardwalk?

It's actually been determind I believe that the single WWF even though getting over 95% of the wrestling audience if WCW folds, that it's not a monopoly, because there just aren't smaller indy feds popping up every day trying to compete with the WWF.

<< Its fake! I really don't give a crap. >>

OMG OMG did you know that all sitcoms are fake, movies are fake, fiction books are fake, and all plays are *gasp* fake??

There's plenty of discussion boards out there of grown men discussing intelligent wrestling. You'll find respected journalists, lawyers, and such in participation.

Oh dear.
