AMD have had superior products every now and then. Sadly those were against "superior" marketing from their opponents.

Marketing > product

I feel like there could still be a horizontal pull/through the mesh pull fan inside. Why else would they have exhaust holes on the back if it's fully under water?

The slides are on AMD's site. They are the same for everyone. Not a bad hypothesis though.

Pdf's are sent before or after the presentations. For example, I was attending the HD7970 release back in 2011 and the slides i got were not exactly the same Northern American internet sites got.

Well, it wasn't with the ones I DL'd in New Zealand either. I can't speak for everywhere, though. If it is included with some regions DL maybe someone elsewhere can find it?

I'm not surprised.

I do doubt the interoperability with open-loop coolers. Having a closed loop hybrid cooler that ships with an official way for the consumer to drain the loop and properly disconnect threaded fittings, seems like too much of a stretch.

They're always compatible, you might just have issues getting it reassembled for resale once you cut the hoses. :)

I would point out that AMD has released the entire analyst day slide deck, and that slide is not in the deck.

http://ir.amd.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=74093&p=irol-analystday

I will leave it as an exercise to the audience as to whether the slide in question is authentic or not.
it is real. from that graph I can assume that anything 370 or above will have hbm. performance + enthusiast gpus needs it. 360x n below would probably be rebrands, maybe with 1 or 2 exceptions.

my best guess base on the slides.

Of course that one is fake. I assumed it was just a guess at what the card would look like from a more reasonable angle based on the (now confirmed legit) lens flare shot.

I'm gladdened you've deigned us worthy to receive your hoary wisdom from atop the mount. I am honored and humbled to read your post

With that bullet proof skill for viewing objects at more or less "reasonable" angels based on lens flare shots, you might want to share with us what the real card looks like?

The card looks like the photoshop. Or at least the photoshop looks like the render in AMD's slides. I only got a B in Angles 101 but whoever made the photoshop was able to extrapolate the length of the card based on the known width/height of a pci slot.

For some reason I'm glad that render/mock-up was fake. It looked like a freaking sound card for crying out loud haha.

To clarify, this picture is real:

This image is fake (but it is intended to show a head on angle of the card, based on the real image):

THat fake image is mostly right though, based on the real image. Not much more is missing from the card, just out of focus.

The tube holes are the biggest error probably. My guess is they are at the end of the card

There could still be "more" of the card not shown by the angle. Hey, if that's how the card looks it's not like I won't buy it if it performs good.

Just kind of funny my new GPU pushing my new monitor will look just like my sound card with a few tubes sticking out of it. Haha. What, don't you know Hershey's slogan?

I could see cooling companies make a bracket to allow radiator to be installed directly behind the card. Maybe make a custom AIO that fits the enclosure the size of a titan cooler.

Form the sound of some of these comments, they better ship the 390X in a full-length form factor, even if the last third is empty space.
