WC3 TFT: startup problems

I'm having startup problems when I start up the game... my machine tends to start up the application twice. From what I can tell, it confuses the machine and I'm forced to go into Task Manager to shut one of them down, which usually shuts the other one down...

eventually I beat the cycle and it starts the game up... but that takes a while...

this is probably a really technical question... and it probably has to do with the operating system, and if it's an OS problem... what should I do to fix it?

heh, weird, sounds like when the parent is killed, the child (wow #2) closes too.

maybe closing the child wow process using sysinternals process explorer would work. (that is, if there actually is any child proc)

> maybe you're forcing your refresh rate using ReForce or something, and this is cuasing problems (like with BF2). Try disabling that.
