D'oh. Blame that on a slow CPU and a rather large log to compress. Since Edge has to download the daily log at 15 minute intervals, the keymaster was unable to prepare the download quick enough. In a week or two, this machine is getting a new CPU, which will easily cut the processing time by 65%.
