CPU: Prime95 or Orthos (stress-tests)
Mobo: Maybe a diagnostic utility built into the BIOS? Most Dell's come with them. Other than that, you're out of luck. Just keep the firmware updated and you'll be fine.

hmm I didn't think Prime 95 was very accurate. Add that one to the list then!
