Ways for a 17 year old to make money?

I have a job but hours are limited and the pay is low and I don't have that much time anyways and I was just wondering what you guys think another way of getting money would be?

P.S. Prostitution, ransoms and drug smuggling are all out of the question 😉
 
Full-time summer work at a shipping/receiving dept for a big-box DC, UPS, fedex, etc... Usually there's open positions (large turn-around) and decent pay (for a 17 year-old).
 
Mow lawns. I'm 17 and make 150$ a week with two lawns (my lowest). At one time I had four and was making close to 300$ a week.

what skills or ambitions do you have?

do you have a drivers license? a car? a reliable means of transportation?

we could recommend limo driver, but if you cant peddle a bicycle, it would be useless.

JESUS how big are these lawns?!?! They do our law, edging and everything for 15 bucks a week. Granted the lawn's not very big. I can't imagine the size lawns where 2 brings in $150.

Mow lawns in the west side of LA.
 
I used to make fake report cards and sell them for $100 a pop. Make sure you overcharge, cuz if you don't, nobody will take you seriously and they'll rat you out. You can cash in on the losers that are going nowhere in life, make bad grades, and live off of daddy's endless bank account 😉

You can also fix computers. I don't recommend BUILDING computers, because then you have to support them. You're better off just fixing them. I made tons of money in high school (for being 17) doing this. With Windows 7 around the corner, I'm sure you can find plenty of people wanting to upgrade that don't know how, or are too scared to do it themselves because they think they're lose all their info.

The most immediate way to sell money is to SELL STUFF! Dig out your old crap that you don't want anymore and get rid of it for money. That simple.

Play any instruments? Perform (get gigs) or teach lessons. Performing is MUCH better, but do what you can.

Some people pay for taking care of their dog during the day while they're at work... I don't understand those people, but they're out there. Go find them!

I live in Alabama, in a suburban area with nothing but middle-class, upper middle-class, and upper class residents.

Yeah.

EDIT: Should be mentioned, I don't just mow the lawn, I edge, pull weeds, sweep, etc.

especially without prostitution, kidnappings, and drug running. Seriously though : The way to make the most money at your age would probably be to study hard, do well in school, etc.


That and get a better job.
