a couple of times my left ear would get clogged, and i couldnt hear well through it. i went to the doctor, and they used a syringe to blast warm water in there. that cleaned it out good. they also found that i have "ear dandruff"; basically just skin inside my ear flaking off just like what happens on the scalp. the doctor used another tool that was a thin tube that sucks air, and she used it to vacuum out some flakes.
 
Peroxide and water mix with a ear bulb will get rid of it really fast.

It's not a good idea to do this often as it can strip your ear of to much wax but if you go to the doctors office, they will basically do this.

Just watch out for the solution to not get onto any fabrics while doing it or it'll bleach them out.
