Wax bottles

Was at the $1 store today and saw these wax bottle things; I vaguely recalled having these things as a young child so I bought a package. There were 5 of the wax bottles inside for a net weight of .5 oz, not much at all. Nothing really spectacular either, now I?m just wondering if I was suppose to eat the wax bottles or what? The package doesn?t say anything about not eating them, but the first one I chewed up pretty good and it didn?t taste tasty at all.
On later thought, I think I maybe confusing these with the mini ?soy? milk things I had before. Don?t know what those are called either, but I do believe it is more of a Chinese thing. The milk is in a white plastic container with a green foil top and then milks are wrapped together with a stretch plastic.
And if you want to see a picture of the wax bottles, go to my Blog.

Why not? I got some beef jerky while I was there too, it was quite yummy 🙂. The exp date was in 2005 too, but older the better it taste? Last time I bought some fruit by the foot that were quite good, close to exp date, but it was good.
