Im sorry I cant help with your distro, Im running Mandrake and am totally lost in how it works except to do the basic install of it and D2OL.. then I turn off the monitors and let it work.. LOL

I'm making preparations to install Mandrake on one of my useless servers right now.. in the mean time I just assimilated another box 🙂

on a side note.. just passed 1500! 😀
 
I will say Mandrake was an easy install for me. Had it on 6 machines but reverted back to Win2k on the main box. I just had to have my toys.. 🙂

I have yet to have it accept a hardware change though. Thats one reason I show 17 nodes and only have 7.. 🙁

Well, if it makes you feel any better my 13 nodes are really only 11 😉
 
<rant>... got the same stupid java error in mandrake as I got under Gentoo!.. this is really p!ssing me off now!.. :|

I can't deal with this right now.. just have to deal with the nodes I have now for the time being...

Mandrake 9.0... I think my problem is that madrake did not properly setup my X server settings...
 
Im using 8.1. I just accepted all the default install suggestions as it went. I havent tried 9.0 yet. I know others here use it though.
 
You go right on by.............I've pulled to the side of the road for a bit here 🙂

EDIT:I go to look at what kind of production it would take to hang with you...........only to find the servers are down again...........I'll stay at the roadside for now 😕
