wav.music question

if i dont have a mic and i want to record on 60 seconds of a song for a web page is there a way to do this....like record a 60 sec part of the song (while it is a mp3) then convert to wave?, please help.

make it a wave.. with one of those wav2mp3 apps..

then open it up in something lame like.. windows recorder, and chop off the aprt you dont want.. save it. voila.
