Watts used by CPU

is there a list anywhere that shows the different cpus (amd and intels, all different cores, atleast as far back as axp and p4 1.7) idle power consumption and their 100% load consumption?

Those AMD numbers are max wattage and in real life you don't achieve those numbers.

But i don't have any better links. 🙁

damn, so at max load my 2.8c uses ~85W where a a64 venice core 3000-3200 only uses a max of ~30W?
