This what i've red from xbitlabs as they compare the wattage between the E6300 & X2 3800+....

I'm currently using a Pentium 805 and my electricity bill has increase a lot since my previous Pentium 4 3.0 HT....

I want to upgrade my processor & board, I'm confuse whether I'd choose the X2 3800+ or the E6300....I know conroe is better than X2..

But which consumes less power so that my electricity bill will be lower next month....????
Does Xbitlabs article tells the truth that conroe consumes less than X2????
 
No, the entire editorial team of xbit labs was abducted by aliens at the behest of Intel before being brainwashed into saying that the C2D line had lower power draw.

Just in case your sarcasm meter is broken, C2D uses less power, with the exception of the EE line.
