Watercooling, which one???

Hopefully it won't be as hard as last time to get an answer ! 😛
I wanna switch to water cooling but I don't know what system to get. Hopefully someone can help me out in getting a good, yet not too expensive one (~200$ US)...
Cause right now, these fans are really getting annoying it's so loud...

Thanks a lot !!!

I'm thinking about that too. The first thing I need to get is the waterblock, and I'll build the system around that. Any suggestions about where to get the waterblock? I like the looks of the z4, but the price is a little steep ~$50. Too bad none of the search engines will work for "waterblock". Are there any lists of websites that sell watercooling supplies?

would be a great idea to switch to watercooling,

does anyone knows a web site/electronic store?
i'm located in Montreal, Canada

help would be appreciated😉

if you know nothing about watercooling get a koolance not as good as DIY but easier, if you wanna go all out get a maze 2, eheim 1250, heatercore, silicone tubing, 120mm Panaflo, Rez, and a rheostat

Koolance is a good choice, if you want a good, quiet, no hassles system. If you are looking to build your own, check FS/FT around here and hardforums. You can usually pick up good stuff cheap. You also don't need the top of the line stuff. I keep my 1.2 @ 1.4 around 31 * C idle and 34 * C full load. This is with essentially this radiator, a Maze2 knockoff, Radio Shack thermal compound, a Rio 200 (rated at 138 gph), and a resiviour. The whole thing cost me less them $100 US. I cool the radiator with 2 120 mm NMB fans at 7 volts, which is almost silent.

I am looking to move to watercooling and just got a heatercore from a local junk yard. It is all cooper and is pretty big, so maybe you should check a place like that if you want a true DIY. I am looking at the water block from Aquastealh because at $30 it seems like a steal compared to the $45+ ones. I am looking at either an Eheim Pumps or Model 3 Pump. There are coupons for 10off at petsmart so it would come out to be like $40 with shipping. Can anyone say if this will be an acceptable setup?

With all due respect, I'm not sure why you're bumping. There are many excellent answers on here. Please elaborate if you need more help. =)

Sorry... I was trying to get other opinions on the geminicool system. Is it really worth it at that price because I don't want to get a Koolance case as I'm rather fond of my SX-1040B which I'm currently modding... (don't want all that work to be a waste). And I'm looking for a quiet system that hopefully won't be too hard to assemble. If someone can direct me to a few places where I can get parts that aren't too complicated to assemble (in the Montreal area if at all possible) and a quiet pump that will hopefully allow me to overclock to 1750MHz or more (which my current air cooling setup allows but at rather high temps, around 55C), then I should be happy.

I don't know much about watercooling but I'm pretty handy so I'm pretty sure I can survive, and make my computer survive the installation on a watercooling kit. But still, the simpler, the better... thanks !

(Ok, the original reason why I was bumping is only the geminicool part)... 😛
