I did know what I was doing I just got lazy and cheap. But its ok its not the end of the world. Now I am just waiting on my new tubing and silver coil. I should be up and running by the end of the weekend.

Did you start off with distilled or water from the tap?

Even with water cooling, a PC running 24/7 in a closet with no air circulation is a bad idea.

it was distilled. Yeah it isnt in the closet any more. I ditched the other radiator i had in the setup. So i am using one dual rad for cpu, gpu, and north. i had to ditch the vreg cooler it was beyond recovery.

i really wish i had pictures of this.

I could help you recover some of it.

Its as simple as boiling the copper blocks themselves after you removed all the acrylic and rubber oring in a boiling vinegar + salt bath.

i went ahead and bought PT Nuke after I read your post OP 😛 😛 😛 I didnt wanna be in the same situation

dude algae is a PITA.

ive had it once and seriously thought WTF.

It grows where light is present, and it will grow in almost anything unless u add a biocide.

so what is the correct process to clean off algae/bacteria?

varies on a case by case bases.

worse case possible would be a hot vinegar + salt bath.
