Watercooling Ruined

I did know what I was doing I just got lazy and cheap. But its ok its not the end of the world. Now I am just waiting on my new tubing and silver coil. I should be up and running by the end of the weekend.

Just ordered that silver coil too. There has got to be a way to put it in the res without it causing any problems.... hmm ... ??? ...

Did you start off with distilled or water from the tap?

Even with water cooling, a PC running 24/7 in a closet with no air circulation is a bad idea.

it was distilled. Yeah it isnt in the closet any more. I ditched the other radiator i had in the setup. So i am using one dual rad for cpu,gpu,and north. i had to ditch the vreg cooler it was beyond recovery.

i really wish i had pictures of this.

I could help you recover some of it.

Its as simple as boiling the copper blocks themselves after you removed all the acrylic and rubber oring in a boiling vinegar + salt bath.

dude algae is a PITA.

ive had it once and seriously thought WTF.

It grows where light is present, and it will grow in almost anything unless u add a biocide.

varies on a case by case bases.

worse case possible would be a hot vinegar + salt bath.
