Ok i just got a Delta 80mm fan and the thing is loud! Way louder that i expected. I didnt really need it b/c i was getting ok temps with my Alpha Pal8045 and 80mm high speed panaflow, but i think that it would be cool to get into water cooling. My reason are just that it is something else to try and imo it look soooooooooooo cool inside a case with a CCFL and a few windows. My question is what type of heater or radiator should i get. I have heard that going to a dump and grabbing one out of an old car is a good cheap way, but i am not sure if i want to do that b/c it will be my first wcing experience. What type of setup is good for a beginner. And i have a huge Antec 1240 case so i think that almost anything would fit. I have done some searching and its seems for a high end setup i would be spending around $150. Is that price about right? What other thing would you recomend? I have looked at stuff from dangerden and from Becool. Are these good places? if not what are some good places?

Check out overclockers.com's watercooling section. They have a lot of stuff there about waterblocks, radiators, and even evaporative watercooling.

I think dangerden is one of the best places to go for it. I would go for the heatercore type instead of like the cube.

I would suggest going to D-Tek and getting a heatercore with a shroud so you can put a 120mm on it thats what I did, they are better than the cubes

Well i am actually thinking that i can get the radiator out of an old ac wall unit in my room. I know that i said i wasnt going to do this but i cannot justify spending money on something that i have sitting in my room. It has cooper tubes and make 32 passes. It is very very big and i think that it will do just fine. But how do i go about converting it to work with a water cooling setup.
