Watercooling or vapercooling?

I am debating with myself whether to go watercooling or get a vaporcooling setup. If I went watercooling I would go with an Innovatek kit with larger tubing, the dual radiator, and 158gph pump. The kit will be around 300 shipped but I have to get a new case so that adds about 90 bucks. If I went vapor cooling I would get from here the lian li case with the vapor mod and an athlon kit. That comes out to about 450 shipped. Pricewise the price of the lian li with the vapor mod doesnt seem too steep. How are those setups? Is any of this even worth it? I'm going for some good temps with little noise.

Where did you get $450 shipped for the vapor cooling from? On that site the Prometeia cooler is $600.

Is there any site that has pictures of the actual Prometeia unit and not 3D drawings like I've seen in a few online stores so far?

Syborg, what OddTsi means is that the actual cooler (the prometeia) is $600. What you have priced is $200 for lian-li with hole cut in bottom for you, $159 for an aluminum base that matches lain-li case, and the $50 AMD coolerblock. The actual cooling unit is still $600 that you will need to buy ontop of the $410.

A thousand dollars to get rid of the ONE fan that is needed for water-cooling. Sheesh.

Goto your local recycling place. Get a heatercore from an old car. Get a $20 300GPH pump from a pet store that closing down. Buy a $5 120mm fan and rheostat. Some tubing. Get a $40 block for the CPU, and for $80 you have the same amount of cooling. Oh, $2 for distilled water and $10 for a good wetter.
