Watercooling cpu set-up, NO CHANGING WATER?

It seems like if you're going to go to the trouble of having a water cooled system, that putting the fan inside the case kind of defeats the purpose. You'd want either a passive radiator, or something big fan-wise, which argues for an outside the case (to go bigger/slower than 120mm) solution. Granted, I do acknowledge that cars have a similar radiator setup. But observationally, the other thing I see here is that the connections to the radiator piece appear to be all hard copper, so the motherboard/case better have a pretty exact match on alignment.

thats what i was thinking when looking at it...

If you look at the pics, one shows solid lines, the other 2 show tubes....
I think you have to cut the lines and put in tubes to fit in your case.

Strange that the chemical makeup of the coolant isn't mentioned. Also, I wouldn't call the process of flushing a water-cooler a "nightmare" by any stretch of the imagination. It just isn't that bad.

Cars need radiators and fans because the amount of heat they have to move is extremely large. The surface area that would be required for cooling without the fan would simply be too large to fit under the hood.
