Is there a way to build a water cooling system for under 150$ from frozencpu that would be better than my cooling system? I need it to cool the cpu, gpu, chipset.
Thanks.

I've seen people selling water cooling kits on the FS/T forum for around that price and cheaper, but I haven't seen anything from frozencpu. I've been doing a lot of research there for water cooling, and it is just too expensive for me. What kind of cooling setup do you have now?

Air cooling, it`s all in the signature :). I can`t buy from FS/T because i`m in europe but a friend will buy from frozencpu and he can get me something if i want to.

So I see. I don't see how I could have missed that sig. :) Um.... Hmmm. Well, from what I've seen, you are only going to get like a 10C delta from going from a XP cooler to water cooling. Hmm. I don't see how you could cool all of that, but what about something like this for the processor. And then do active air cooling for the chipset and video?

I need the water cooling system for silence not ofr heat reduction. My cpu stays at 38c idle and 55 full load. So water cooling only the cpu isn`t a solution.

Okay... What about making a hand-made unit? I'll keep looking around though... What about ebay, is that an option?

directron.com has the Cooler Master Aquagate ALC-U01 on sale for $128 (I think it's the pre-LGA 775 version, hence the discount). If I were convinced I could buy one for my upcoming Athlon64 X2-based system and get away with running it at sub-24db "low" speed in a matching Lian-Li case with water-cooled 15,000 RPM hard drive and fanless PSU, I'd probably buy one on the spot. As it stands, I'm not entirely convinced I could achieve all my goals with it at its quietest setting... but at that price, it's pretty tempting...

I can think of one noise-related improvement to the ALC-U01... occupy THREE bays, with 12cm fan ;)

Now, if only someone could make a case that combined the form-factor of the X-QPACK or Fragmaster-2, the noise-shielding of the Antec 180, and 12cm fan blowing up into the radiator, itself below the downward-facing quiet 12cm fan in the power supply...

You all gave me options for cooling the cpu only. I need to cool the entire system :). Tas, only frozencpu is an option but i could but the radiator, cpu block and all that things separately.
