Water level in my fish tank is not level!

I removed some of the water and placed a piece of paper folded many times underneath the left side of the tank. Well, the left side is higher than the right side, but for some reason there's more water on the right side of the tank!! what could it be?

help me!!! i hated physics class..........................wonder if it would be safe since the level is not level.
ok ... im stupid someone please help me out

If you raised the left side of the tank, that would lower the water level on the left side. Put the paper under the right side.

You're looking at it at from the wrong angle.

:-/

put a level (you know.. that water thing with the bubble) on the countertop the tank is on, and check to make sure thats level, if not, toss a book under one side like "leveling a fish tank for dummies" or something

What you have to do to fix this is put your head down in the tank until your face is about three inches from the gravel, and count each piece. If you remove your head from the tank you have to start over, so keep your head under the water until all your counting is down. This is sure to solve your problem. You're welcome.

my bad!!!!!!!!! i told you i was never good in physics, but then again this was a nobrainer. I could've thought of it myself if i had actually wanted to try to think and not post on an internet board. all is well, but i wonder if the tank will be safe.
