Water inside my case

some water got inside my case, but AFAIK it hasn't touched anty components. Its just touched the bottom of the inside of the case. I wiped it all up, and iI was wondering if iI dshould turn it on? plzpls excuse spelling, typing on ipodiPod sucks :(

You spell better than half the members here. :roll:

I'd leave it open, with a small fan blowing in for a couple of hours, just to be safe.

I'd let it dry over night just to be safer. A fan would help too.

All it takes is for one tiny droplet of water left somewhere to cause a short circuit and fry everything.

Water leaking from the roof then through the ceiling right above my computer. If I hadn't gotten to it when I did I think the damage could've been a lot worse.

Yes it is perfectly safe to turn it on. I routinely hose down my computer in the sink (to remove dust) using the dish-sprayer, and plug it right back in. Good as new! The extra evaporation helps keep the PC a little cooler than normal too-- it's like water cooling!
