Water Cooling Q's

I am using a mix of coper and aluminum with G12 coolant 50/50 mix with Vinyl tubing.

The heat sinks are coper and the Radiator is mixed.

I have seen some mixed stuff on the web with coper and aluminum cooling.

1. Is there any thing wrong with using G12 coolant, it's clear on the bottle aluminum compatible?

2. What is the better type of Tubing to handle G12 / Coolant.

if your using distilled water, don't mix metals even if you have anti-corrosive additive in the mix. unless you refill the system every couple months.

g12 coolant as in the antifreeze for VW cars?

It shouldn't be bad, but a 50/50 mix is a bit much IMO. That ratio would be better if you were doing chilled watercooling where you need the anti-freeze properties to prevent the water from freezing. usually just a small amount coolant is needed

what components are you using in your WC setup?

I still run mixed metals storm/polarfloTT

I use Zerex Racing Super Coolant 10-15% with distilled H2O, refill every 6-8 months, works very well.
