what is a good, simple, integrated water cooling system that is SILENT? I want a silent computer without the extreme heat...i think this may be the way to go

Good question. I am seriously thinking about water cooling my rig. It has to be quite though.

I did a simple search on both the Asetek and the Exos and it seems that end users like the Exos a little better. Some have reported it to be quieter as well. I will be curious to see how far I could push my rig with a water cooled CPU and VPU?

Now I need to convince the wife that I "Need" a new toy...

I bought a Maze3 from dangerden.com
a heater core from advanced auto parts $20
an Eheim pump and two 120mm fans

the result a kick ass water cooling system for $120

The Asetek is a far better system than the EXOS, but it is harder to set up. If you just want lower noise levels, and slightly lower temps, then the EXOS will be fine, but if you plan on OCing, the AseTek is far better, even when you flick the jumper on the control board for 7v fan operation.
