I've been expecting the price to be in that range. I'm having a hard time finding any of the cases you mentioned available for sale though 🙁 Maybe I'll just mount it externally to my wall because I don't like it standing there without even feet because they don't include any kind of stand, feet are available for purchase separately at that price this is ridiculous. Anyway, I didn't know about that before I bought otherwise I would've had ordered the stand/feet.

Actually, and my memory is understandably hazy after some months since I looked at the options, I thought that the "feet" or base was included. If not, your remark clarifies.

There is also an attractive fan grille or cover for the MO-RA3, so the radiator has the appearance of a bass-reflex speaker with the fabric cover so that you don't "see" the tweeters and woofers. So I still think it is quite possible to build a modified side-panel that includes the MO-RA3 into the equation.

This is all a matter of preference, confidence about tools and mistakes, cost and time. You've taken the time to put all this stuff together and test it. You may not want what I'd mentioned earlier: the sweat, the metal dust and filings, the noise and neighbors' irritation.

The only question remains: Can you design this "case expansion" so that the case looks as "pretty" and aesthetically pleasing as it did originally from the manufacturer? Possible, feasible -- a matter of planning and design. And -- troubles such as those I enumerated.

i highly doubt you are gonna find it in any EU vendor, as the case is just straight up too expensive for the store to stock.

You may email the store and ask if they can place a special order for you at best, otherwise you will need to go to a US vendor and ask for World Wide Shipping.

But i honestly suggest you just forget it and run the mora externally.
Big cases are not everyone's forte...
They are big... not easily movable... example, my case can easily break 35kg with everything in it... it makes the entire unit very impractical to move.

But if you are a fan of big cases, then its a worthwhile investment.
As i have stated, i have been using my Mountain Mods for almost 7yrs now, and i cant think of anything to replace it outside maybe another mountain mods, one which can house 120x4 radiators.
But that's if i truly didn't have anything else to buy...

Pun: "Case" in point. Exactly what I'd been thinking since that last thread on the MO-RA3 . . .

But you would need custom panel for the Mora-3.

Trinity Panels are for 3 x triple 120 radiators - NOT MORA all in one radiators. If you want complete alignment with all in one radiators - you will need a custom panel.

This thread is good. It started with an innocent attempt to just water cool the CPU in as inexpensive manner as possible. Then a massive radiator was purchased. Then a GPU block was added. Now a custom case will be purchased. More to likely come afterward because once you start, you can't stop until everything is just right (I know this).

R.I.P. Lepton's wallet ?-2015. 😀

During my other life, I knew an economist who worked at FEMA. For her PhD dissertation, she chose "The Economics of Space." The new NASA building was just blocks down the street from where we both worked, and I suppose that had to be a challenging subject.

So I'm thinking AnandT could sticky a thread on "The Economics of PC Enthusiasm."

He's spent a bundle, no doubt. I really didn't have any criticism, although I'd told him something about "diminishing returns." But the diminishing returns for something like this don't follow a business "economics of production" model. Instead, it's about personal preference.

Take for instance KarLiTos' system. There are many reasons someone would pursue such a project to the end -- all of them valid.

On the other hand, there are many reasons someone might choose not to do so. Especially prominent in the equation is how one values the aesthetic difference between running something like GRID with the three large monitors (4K ??), and running it on a 28" 1080p or 42" 1080p as I might want to do. KarLiTos may have frequent parties in the basement game room, or family that are all goo-gah for gaming. It might be like "performance-art" with "conversation-piece" aspects thrown in. Who knows? KarLitoS knows, but his choices are no less valid than those of ghetto-modding pensioners, and no more valid than those of any other enthusiast. They just "are."

One must also "appreciate art."

That's about the only way you can discuss "diminishing returns" with this, before adding budget, prices, other usage patterns, upgrade plans near-term and long-term. Or -- for that matter -- income. Like I'd said before, many incomes are limited, but even if less so, some folks will have a bigger preference for more trips to Cabo San Lucas or Bali -- with indifference to even casual gaming.
