Ok, for a water jacket, which one should I get...

http://3dcool.com/prodimg/copperwaterjacketstraight1.jpg (I found someone selling one for $20 :))

or

http://www.2coolcomputer.com/images/370blockit.jpg for $24

The one from 2cool includes a clip...the one from 3dcool (from the person) doesn't, I could use zip ties or buy an $8 clip from 3dcool. Which one would provide for the best cooling?

I like this water reservoir...then buy a separate $17 pump (including shipping...the pump is the Rio 600...200GPH max).

but can get this water resevoir+pump (the tupperware :p) for $20. The only real difference is aesthetics. :) (180GPH max)

I am prolly gonna get a transmission oil cooler radiator at a local autoparts store and some vinyl tubing at a local True Value hardware store.

Which pump/reservoir and which water jacket should I get? Cost is a big issue...oh, I'll probably be writing a review of this plan at a site I just joined. ;)

LOL thanks. ;) hehe, the aesthetics one seems to be a waste of $14 over the other one. :p

I'm not even sure I'm going water now...peltiers work better, easier to set up, cheaper (kinda). :p

How big of a peltier you getting? and the only thing that scares me is condensation. I plan to use the water stuff on a Socket tbird. with an A7V...anyone sell kits pieced together?

Say waaaa? You don't need a peltier to my knowledge. Though, I may go only peltier or only water or both. :)

Get ahold of Roger if you can. I haven't seen him latly but he's a watercooling master. Do a search for his email address.

Zippy if you use a peltier it really should be watercooled because of the EXTREME amount of heat that is given off. A 72 watt peltier(I wouldn't get anything lower) gives off a lot of heat. Add to that the heat being transferred and you can end up with anywhere from 170F upward. If the peltier isn't cooled the cold side doesn't cool and the temp will rise to just a little less than the hot side. So start off with the water cooling setup first then go to a peltier maybe later.

I would get the rio 600, more power argh argh argh!

Get the copper water block at 3dcool because copper conducts heat a little better than aluminum.

Depending on the temp of your water you'll have to worry about condensation. Most places I see use vasoline around the pins of the cpu and closed cell foam around the cpu core and such.

Good Luck! :)
