Water alarm/senor ? for basement

I installed one of these right where the water main enters my house. Not only will it sound an alarm, but it will also shut off the water.

A better alternative to a water heater shutoff would be to ditch the tank and get a thankless water heater. Eliminate the tank and you emilimiate most of the risk of leaking water in the basement, plus you will cut down on your bills in the process.
