WATCHMEN .... currently 63% at Rotten Tomatoes

I think the only complaints I've seen are that it stuck too close to the source material and that some of it is too dated (USA vs USSR, etc), some of the acting was a bit sub-par and blue glowing penis does not seem to be popular.

Watchmen is unlike any other super hero movie/book out there. I just finished reading it a couple days ago. I found the novel so interesting that I actually called out of work one day to finish the damn book. When I started reading it, I was like "WTF, this isnt what I expected to be reading." Will definitely be watching the movie, although I have a feeling I wont be enjoying the movie as much simply because I now know how the story goes

I'm about 3/4 of the way through the book right now and it's really turned into something I haven't expected from the way it started off.

Very interesting read.

I'm going to finish it before going to see the movie.
