Watching Zeitgeist, wow didn't realize everything in the Universe point to Jesus

I remember being amazed by that movie when I first watched it. Now it's like meh. The stuff linking past religious icons to Jesus I've heard in other places though. The point they were trying to make is that he was invented, or even sort of plagiarized based on fictional religious figures that came before him. Seems as likely as anything else to me. Once the haze of a few thousand years separates you from what you're talking about, it's easy to come up with all kinds of half baked bullshit supporting what you think happened. That goes for both sides of the argument.

I rode my new bike 20 miles on Friday night and 26 miles yesterday in the blazing heat of the day. It's a nice, fast bike that I got online for $350 and $50 for local assembly. I can't wait until the days are cooler and don't reach 100 degrees by 1 pm.

I tried hiking/climbing up a desert peak yesterday, about 1000ft vertical. I had to bail at about 100ft below the top. It was just too damn hot and humid. I could feel my core temp rising and it was taking too long to cool back down between scrambles.

Pics? I have a coworker who wears one (yes, even at work on occasion). He kind of looks like Schneider in it.

The main issue with my ride was that we had a strong headwind coming back from our destination. It was inching closer to 100 degrees and we had a >10 mph wind hitting us in the face, making it much harder to get speed. I took a nice long nap after getting home and taking a shower.
