Watching Twister on TBS

ohtwell

Since when have they been allowed to say sh!t on TV? It's 7:44 on a Sunday night, and out of Bill Paxton's mouth comes the word, "bullsh!t". It's not that I have a problem with this. I just wonder when this started.

I piss on your leg.

Yes, I listen to children talk daily. It just used to be one of those "forbidden" words. That's why I was suprised.

And don't pee on my leg! 😛

I'm sure the FCC will be fining them into oblivion shortly. TV & Radio, the only two places where the first ammendment doesn't apply.

you can cuss till you are blue in the face on cable i believe. its just that a lot of stations decide not to excercise that right.

Ok, my first thought was that you were watching people play twister, on tv. I knew reality tv was low, but that had to be the bottom of the barrel. Then I remembered the movie.. oops. 🙂

That movie was quite dumb.

Then again, to anyone that had the handle F5Chaser when they were in college, it would seem dumb.

Cheers!

They have shown South Park the movie uncut and uncensored. Although it was after 10pm.

That's interesting, they're playing again now, and... this isn't uncut.

They are cable channels. A little more lenient.

Yours in Christ.

Because cable is not broadcasted, they don't have to broadcast content in the "public's interest."

That is somewhat true, but they do have to follow certain rules. They can't just blurth out the "F" word. Also BullSh1t is not one of the 7 deadly words (technicly). so they might have gotten away with it.

I saw that too and was confused...must have something to do with the time. I think it was on a little later last night.

I just really hope they continue the trend. The way they censor TV now is so lame.

You do realise that TBS is broadcast on WTBS-TV 17 in Atlanta, right?
