This was a great season, and reading interviews with Bill Lawrence really gives you some insight on what they fought and dealt with, network-wise, writing-wise, etc.

It was seriously a great last episode - the walk down memory lane (even if John Ritter, Heather Graham, Mandy Moore, and Brendan Fraser weren't there...I can go without Tara Reid) was touching and funny ("Hooch IS crazy!"), and the possible future playing on the banner was a tear jerker.

I'm going to miss that show...the irreverent humor is pretty unique for a network comedy. And it's a series finale as we know it. If it comes back, it might not even use the name "Scrubs", but it certainly won't have most of the current cast - it would feature a new cast, possibly using Denise or Sunny from this season.

Amazing finale; fantastic last season.

It went very south in the last couple seasons prior to this one, but this last one was basically why this is my favorite show ever.

I cried at the the ending...it was pretty much the best ending i've ever seen in a show.

 Scrubs

I agree, I watched the last two seasons but it was kinda painful. This season was more serious that the last couple and did go back to the roots. The finale was absolutely perfect. I plan on watching it again tonight.

Elliot sneak moving in, is she moving in with him in DC?

He's not going to DC, just to a different hospital 37 minutes away.

Scrubs was really the only TV show that I truly got into. It was amazing to watch how they managed to seamlessly sew together each episode through seasons 1-5. For some reason, something happened around season 6 and 7 (the writers strike, probably) that caused the show to become very stale. This last season really did a great job of wrapping up some of things throughout the series. However, I wish that maybe they would have spanned season 8 out into more episodes, or even extend it into another season. I felt like a lot of things did get resolved almost too quickly and would like to have seen the stories develop more.

Needless to say, I was so involved with the show that I actually shed a tear during the finale.

But, I suppose the cast is getting tired of filming it, and I can understand that. I did read online that Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke, Donald Faison, and John McGintly are going to return for six episodes in season 9, but Judy Reyes hasn't been approached about it yet. Hopefully they will do the show a little bit more justice and finally wrap it up as it should be done. I'm pretty excited for season 9, but it will probably be my last. I'll give the new actors a chance, but I can't see myself getting too attached to it as much as I got attached to Scrubs with the current cast.
