Watching "The Ring" on tv

Not really scary, just that picture of the nail going through the fingernail. It's gross.
 
First time I saw that I was watching the DVD in my friends basement at like 3 in the morning and I had all the lights off. So I'm poking around the DVD looking for easter eggs and there's one where it just plays "the tape" and then the screen goes black and like 10 seconds afterwards you hear a phone ringing in the rear channel speakers. I about sh!t my pants.

Movies still freasks me out a little bit

Especially that girl.

Unfortunately, I normally can't code that much during my night shifts. My mind shutdowns around 11-12 pm.

I'm doing my best to stay awake as it is.

This weekend though will be good for it.

cinematography is sweet. watching in on tv in full screen doesn't do it justice. and yes milf all the way.

japanese version is overrated. purists always come out defending the "original" they discovered etc. makes em feel superior.

I liked the english version far more. Far more polished and done up with special effects which made it more scary. The Japanese version practically came off as corny in my opinion.

It might've helped if I had seen the Japanese version first however.

Edit: Bored, so I'm including an example. The victims of the tape in the english version actually kind of freaked me out when I saw them. Especially the girl in the closet. In the Japanese version, as I recall, they had a scrunched up face, open mouth, and eyes rolled back in their head. What made me cringe and look away in the english version actually kind of made me laugh out loud in the original, Japanese version.
 
the only part i liked better in the japanese version was when the girl was standing over the well, and instead of her mother suffocating her with a plastic bag in the american version, the father just clubs her outta nowhere and shoves her in!. Oh man i laughed so hard!
